“Prayer, link joining all Islamic denominations”, official
Governor of Iran’s Gilan Province called prayer the link joining Muslims from all denominations stressing its high value among blessings from the Almighty God.

Arsalan Zare’, governor of the northern province of Gilan noted prayer as the joining link and factor for unity of all Muslims, reported Taqrib News Adgency (TNA).
He quoted Imam Ali (AS), first Shia Imam calling prayer as the pillar of religion.
He noted the role of local trustees, media and NGOs in promoting prayer in society and highlighted importance of programs for guiding the younger generation to learn prayer.
Governor of Gilan called prayer as the factor for unity and cooperation among all Islamic denominations.
“We should endeavor to hold this unifying factor with utmost enthusiasm” said Arsalan Zare’ in his comments at the meeting of the council for prayers held in Gilan on Sunday during Ramadan 2021.
Ramadan is the ninth month in Islamic lunar calendar and holy month of fasting among Muslims. Prayers, reading Qur’an and doing charity work are among the activities particularly observed in this month.
