Huj. Shahriari attends opening ceremony of Islamic unity summer school in Tehran

Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought attended the opening ceremony for Islamic unity summer school in the capital Tehran on Wednesday.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari and a number of Shia and Sunni scholars attended the ceremony held by Iran’s Organization of Islamic Propagation top open the religious summer school in the capital Tehran, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Tabibi, director of the school noted that launching the school aims to link the scholars with the society as a key demand of the current society is Islamic proximity.
 
He referred to the different desks at school and the desk for Islamic proximity which endeavors to teach the strategy of proximity and Islamic unity along with other necessary activities for the religious scholars.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Tabibi also noted the different demands for Islamic proximity activities across the country and said Tehran has been chosen as the city for opening the first school because of the most demand.
 
He called Islamic unity as a peak among other peaks in the thoughts of Imam Khomeini (RA) and said the school was prepared to make the best of experiences by professors and elites in regards to the Islamic unity.
