Iran’s cultural attaché in South Africa has scheduled to hold webinar on “The Impact of Hajj and Recognition of the Ghadir Event in the Realization of Islamic Unity” on Thursday to be attended by a number of Shia and Sunni figures from across the globe, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The online meeting is held on the occasion of the spiritual days of the devotional and political duty of Hajj in the wake of the annual Islamic pilgrimage and Eid al-Ghadir marking the appointment of Imam Ali (AS) as successor of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
A number of Shia and Sunni scholars including Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Seyyed Abdul Fattah Navvab, Representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, Maulana Aftab Heidar, Head of Ahlul Bayt center in South Africa and Maulana Salim Ibrahim, bachelor of Arts majoring in history and Religion studies are among participants to this webinar.
