UNGA demands immediate ceasefire in Gaza

The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) has passed a resolution, with overwhelming majority, calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza Strip.
UNGA demands immediate ceasefire in Gaza
The resolution calls for an unconditional ceasefire in Gaza Strip by all parties and supports UNRWA work in the occupied Palestinian territory.

The resolution passed with 158 members voting in favor out of the 193-member Assembly.

More than 150,000 Gazans were killed or wounded in the Israeli war on the enclave since October 7 last year in addition to around 11,000 missing.

The savage Israeli war machine inflicted vast destruction on the Strip’s infrastructure including the destruction of 80% of buildings other than unprecedented man-made famine.
