Israeli regime had specifically targeted a “position belonging to the resistance”, al Jazeera reported.
The aerial attacks began early on Thursday as Israeli regime targeted several positions across the Gaza Strip particularly in the southern city of Khan Yunis.
Palestinian Shehab news agency reported agricultural farms near the Hay al-Zeytoun area in eastern Gaza as the target of the Israeli airstrikes and Yemen’s al-Masirah television network said an area between Khan Yunis and the Gaza’s Rafah border crossing was also hit in Tel Aviv air strikes.
This is while the Palestinian media outlets reported Hamas resistance group responding to the Israeli aggression by firing “anti-aircraft weapons” as the resistance confirmed it had downed an Israeli drone over Khan Yunis.
Israeli air strikes come while the Palestinian resistance movement had strongly warned of another full-scaled defensive operation.
