MP hails coop between Iranian Shia, Sunni jurists

Iranian Sunni cleric met with Mufti Monib al-Rahman, director of Naeemia Islamic university in Karachi on Monday, hailed the cooperation between Shia and Sunni jurists.

Molavi Nazir Ahmad Salami, representative of the people in Sistan and Baluchistan province in the Assembly of Experts who is visiting Pakistan as member of the delegation led by Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari noted that solidarity among Muslims will enable use of the resources in the Islamic lands, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Iranian Sunni scholar praised the cooperation between Shia and Sunni jurists in Iran and vowed once unity is built between the Islamic denominations the Sunna (tradition) of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) is revived.
 
Member of the delegation from World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought to Pakistan slammed extremism and ignorance as the factors behind disagreement and hailed the cooperation of Shia and Sunni jurists in Iran.
 
Iranian cleric referred to a fatwa by the Supreme Leader banning desecration of Sunni sanctities and stressed," Disrespect and fueling the fan of disagreements will lead to gap in the Islamic society."
 
Molavi Nazir Ahmad Salami spoke to managers and professors at Naeemia Islamic university in part of the trip by a delegation of Iranian religious and cultural experts visiting the Islamic centers and seminaries in Pakistan.
