At least six people have lost their lives and two others were wounded as Israeli airstrike targets two vehicles in southern Lebanese city of Tyre.

Two drone attacks were carried out on a vehicle and a van killed 6 people and injured two others at the scene in Abbasiya, Tyre, South Lebanon.
 
The raid on Friday is the most blatant violation of the ceasefire in South Lebanon, which took effect on November 27, 2024, in the case of the number of casualties and the location of the targeted area.
 
Lebanon lodged a formal complaint against Israel for its ongoing violations of a ceasefire agreement reached late last month, according to media reports.
 
Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs submitted the complaint to the United Nations Security Council through its permanent mission in New York.
 
The complaint expresses strong objections to the repeated breaches of the ceasefire and the security arrangements stipulated in UN Resolution 1701.
