The Islamic Republic of Iran's Ambassador to Tajikistan has stressed the expansion of ties with Tajikistan.

In line with his administration's neighborliness policy, Saberi said, President Raisi began his foreign visits with Tajikistan, where good steps were taken to improve relations with Tajikistan in the past few months.
Raisi's visit to the Republic of Tajikistan in September 2021 was warmly welcomed by the officials of the Tajik government; it was a turning point and the beginning of a new chapter in Tehran-Dushanbe's comprehensive cooperation.
During the visit, 8 cooperation agreements in various fields were signed, the implementation of which created good developments in the relations between the two countries.
