Iran slams Europe for not fulfilling responsibility vis-a-vis refugees
The Director-General of Citizens and Foreign Immigrants' Affairs of the Iranian Interior Ministry says that Europe is not fulfilling its international responsibility towards refugees in Iran.

The Director-General of citizens and foreign immigrants' affairs of the Iranian Interior Ministry said Iran has proven over the past 40 years that it has always been a major supporter of refugees and displaced people, and despite economic hardship and harsh sanctions, it has provided valuable services to refugees and foreign migrants in areas such as education, health, treatment, livelihood, vocational training, and employment.
He also highlighted that 97% of Afghan refugees and migrants live with the Iranian people, and about 3% of refugees live in dedicated cities because they are vulnerable.
Rezadoust underlined that the Islamic Republic of Iran government has always provided services to the Afghan refugee community in all fields without taking into account the limited assistance of international organizations.
