In a telephone call, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran conferred with his Tajik counterpart on the issues raised at the meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Islamabad.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in a phone call with his Tajik counterpart Sirojiddin Muhriddin discussed and exchanged views on the issues raised at the meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Islamabad.
He hoped that with the efforts of the member states, OIC will be a place for empathy and solidarity of the Muslim Ummah and that it will avoid entering areas that harm the unity and integrity of this organization and the Islamic Ummah.
Meanwhile, Muhriddin stressed maintaining unity in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The two sides discussed the upcoming Afghanistan Summit which is to be held in China next week
