In 2006, on such a day, the Iranian scientists succeeded in producing a complete cycle of nuclear fuel on a laboratory scale.
As the Iranian scientists were announced successful in achieving the technology of uranium enrichment and launching a complete chain of enrichment through the Iranian-made centrifuges, Iran is one of the countries processing the technology of uranium enrichment for peaceful activities.
Today, Iran possesses a high level of knowledge in a way that in areas such as stem cell production, nanotechnology, and the production of radiopharmaceuticals using nuclear knowledge, it is among the countries with the nuclear knowledge.
Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Speaker of the parliament in his remarks on Sunday extended congratulations on the occasion of the National Day of Nuclear Technology to the nation of Iran and all the hard-working scientists and country's nuclear industry staff.
The high-ranking official noted: "Among the amazing progress of the nuclear industry in recent years, which are due to the efforts of scientists, especially our nuclear martyrs in various fields, one can refer to the production of high-tech radiopharmaceuticals and the development of defense-related technologies."
The Speaker added: "We are pleased that in the proud path of these developments, the current parliament by passing the Strategic Action Law, paved the way for the nuclear industry and removed obstacles to progress and promotion of scientific achievements in this field. Fortunately, with the capacity created by the indigenization of the nuclear industry, the Iranian diplomats had an upper hand in the Vienna Talks."
Qalibaf expressed hope that the valuable treasure of advanced nuclear knowledge and technology, along with good negotiations, would reach a good agreement for the economic benefit of the Iranian people.
