Pres. Raisi: Normalizing relations with Zionist regime is nurturing a viper in bosom
Emphasizing that the Zionist regime is a shaky regime, the President said: "State terrorism, systematic violation of human rights, use of prohibited weapons against the people, increasing pressure on the people of Al-Quds and the West Bank and desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque, has not contributed to the stability and security of the Zionist regime."

Ebrahim Raisi on Thursday night in a meeting with ambassadors and heads of Missions of Islamic countries, while expressing satisfaction with attending the world Islamic family, said: "The holy month of Ramadan is an identity-building month for the Islamic society, along with promoting the spirit of sincerity and spirituality in society, which leads to public attention and self-improvement, and makes people more kind to each other."
Raisi has noted that the month of Ramadan creates a distinct identity called the Islamic Ummah; Basically, one of the social functions of religious rites is this coherence in identity. Bonds of faith are the strongest kind of bonds between human beings that promote believers to the brothers and sisters of faith and the Muslim community to the Muslim ummah.
Raisi stated that the huge and growing population of Muslims in the world, along with the growing tendency of young people to observe Islamic law, would herald a new era of the greatness of the new Islamic civilization; however, the ostensibly paradoxical model of Western liberal democracy had now, as Western officials admit, lost its appeal even in the West, and was being challenged by extremist nationalism and authoritarianism within Western societies.
Raisi pointed out: "In these circumstances, the Islamic Ummah needs unity. As the Holy Qur'an says the ummah has a direct relationship with the worship of God and the differences do not interfere with the ummah being united.
The current of Takfir has become the infantry of the enemies of the Islamic Ummah
The President noted that therefore, on the one hand, the ummah would be consolidated with unity, and on the other hand, unity must be sought in the ummah. For this reason, the Takfiri thoughts, which feed on the blood of the Islamic world, was a clear deviation from the straight path of the unity of the Islamic Ummah. This takfiri orientation has now become the infantry of the enemies of the Islamic Ummah, and in line with their hegemonic interests, they are committing massacres of Muslims in various Islamic lands.
Ayatollah Raisi, referring to the position of Quds Day in keeping the issue of Palestine and resistance alive in the region, highlighted: "Quds Day as the legacy and clever initiative of the late leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini, has kept the issue of Palestine and resistance as the beating heart of the world Islam alive. Al-Quds Day is the day of solidarity of the Islamic Ummah, and this day is the day of hope for the oppressed and the downtrodden, and the day of despair of the Zionist regime and the enemies of Islam. The Islamic Republic of Iran has proved in practice that it does not abandon the its brothers and friends in difficult days alone."
The President stated: "At the same time, the Islamic Republic has offered a just, democratic solution based on international standards to resolve this great problem in the land of Palestine, and that is referring to the views of all genuine Palestinians, including Muslims, Christians and Jews to determine the political destiny of his country and to create an inclusive state in the historical lands of Palestine, and this initiative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution is one of the documents registered with the United Nations."
Raisi elsewhere noted that the Islamic Ummah should not neglect the main issues of the Islamic world. More than fifty years ago, the Organization of the Islamic Conference was formed properly in response to the crime of making fire at Al-Aqsa Mosque, and today it is expected that internal divisions would not overshadow the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. Under the pretext of discord, one should not immerse oneself in the mouths of predatory wolves.
"Disputes should be resolved through dialogue. The US policy of maximum pressure has failed miserably. Iran warmly shakes the hands of all Islamic countries. We seek maximum interaction with the world, and in this context, our neighbors, friends and the Islamic Ummah form our priority."
