Pres. Raisi: Iran-Turkmenistan ties expanding rapidly on basis of extensive cooperation, mutual trust
Referring to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the President said in a meeting with the Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, "Relations between Tehran and Ashgabat have always been expanding in recent years with your wise measures".

Referring to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the President said in a meeting with the Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, "Relations between Tehran and Ashgabat have always been expanding in recent years with your wise measures".
Raisi stated that the two countries have good capacities to improve the level of cooperation with each other, adding, "The 13th Administration has a special program in the field of foreign policy to develop neighborly relations and Iran-Turkmenistan relations are expanding rapidly based on extensive cooperation and mutual trust”.
At the same meeting, Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow also praised the Iranian government's efforts to strengthen and expand relations with the country over the past few months, saying, "The two countries have many common grounds and capacities, which has provided a good ground for increasing and improving the level of relations as much as possible”.
The Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan also said, "Turkmenistan seeks to open a new page in relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran”.
