Unity, spirituality are basic foundations of Hajj.

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has addressed the pilgrims to Hajj 2022, who perform the annual ceremony after two years of the pandemic infection stressing Hajj as symbol of unity in the world of Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

The Leader expressed satisfaction that Muslims can "observe the unity and harmony" via Hajj and turn away from factors that lead to disunity and division.

Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted unity as one of the basic foundations of Hajj pilgrimage particulalry when combined with spirituality and dhikr (remembering God).

Supreme Leader warned of hostile efforts to undermine the honor of Islamic nation and also efforts to counteract such moves.

The Leader also warned of extensive drives to weaken solidarity and spirituality among Muslims and slammed enemies of Islam overendeavors to undermine Islamic unity and promote factors which foster division ampng Muslims.

Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution also enumerated prerequisites for unity referring to Islamic awakening as the first reason Muslim world elites are aware of their religious understanding and spiritual heritage.

The phenomenon of resistance, according to the Leader, is the second phenomenon at the heart of the Muslim world which has created much problems for the Arrogant Powers calling the situation of Palestine as a manifestatin of this phenomenon.

According to the Leader the sovreignty of Islam in the legislative and executive branches of governance, reliance on the popular vote and political independence as factors to be found at top of the list of these basic principles.

Supreme Leader warned of tactics employed by enemies of Islam ranging from domination of media and soft warfare to proxy wars and political espionage aiming the right path of awakening and felicity taken by Islamic world.

"Hope and self-confidence" are the greatest assets for building the future for the Islamic world, according to the Leader which should be protected and increased.

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei called on all Muslims across the globe to pray for syccess and victory and also divine guidance.

Message by the Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic addressed the pilgrims of Hajj 2022 performing the annual ceremony in the holy city of Mecca.
