Senior Iranian cleric and Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought visited the Islamic center of Moscow and discussed the latest issues of Muslims with cultural deputy at the center.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, in a meeting held on the first day of his trip to the Russian capital visited the Islamic center in Moscow and discussed the latest issues in the world of Islam with Hujjat-ul-Islam Tahmasebi, the cultural deputy at the center, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The visiting cleric delivered speech at the ceremony held for the major Islamic occasion, Eid al-Adha and visited the different sections of the Islamic center of Moscow.
 
He also attended the communal prayer led by Hujjat-ul-Islam Akbari Jeddi, representative of the Supreme Leader in Russia.
 
The cleric made the visit in part of his trip leading a delegation of Iranian religious and cultural figures to Russia on the eve of Eid al-Adha.
 
In another part of the trip, Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought met with Russian muftis to exchange views on the latest developments in the world of Islam.
