Huj. Shahriari warns of disunity as key weapon to block unified Islamic nation
Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought denounced the enemies for plotting to incite division among Muslims and counted the means by which Muslims are provoked against each other.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, in his remarks at a meeting with Syrian clerics and elites held in Tehran enumerated war, Takfir (excommunication), terror and fear as means through which enemies stoke tension in the world of Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He noted that a strategy at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought is to establish the unified Islamic nation.
He referred to division and disagreement as two blocks undermining efforts for establishment of unified Islamic nation and stressed “maintaining Islamic unity” and “avoiding schism” as two mandates in Islam.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari expressed regret over Muslims’ use of Takfir as pretext to kill each other and denounced expansion of fratricide across Muslim world since Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) called Muslims brothers.
Senior scholar warned of individual and ideological terror of the people when the person is eliminated in the former whereas he is excluded from community in the latter.
Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought noted creation of disagreement in the world of Islam as the major mission of the enemies and said,” To level accusations, desecration of religious sanctities and other denominations are the key means by which enemies divide Muslims.”
Still in another part of his remarks, Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari reiterated military, political, scientific, religious and ideological cooperation among Islamic countries and lauded Iran-Syria cooperation where the resistance axis eliminated ISIL terrorists backed by the Arab-Hebrew-western states.
“ISIL, which was a Zionist-western brainchild was eliminated as a result of cooperation between Iran and Syria and also the sacrifices made by Iranian, Syrian, Iraqi and Afghan fighters, particularly counter-terror commander of IRGC, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani.
He called on the Islamic countries to boost scientific cooperation and urged the religious figures to be the harbingers of movements among communities in the world of Islam.
