“Islamic unity, religious mandate rather than political advice”
Islamist activist from France has hailed the lifestyle of Imam Ali (AS), first Shia Imam as a sign for his piety and concern for building unity in the Islamic nation.

Emad Hamrouni, professor at Paris Academy of Science, attended the webinar on Qadir Event and highlighted the constant efforts of Islam to build a unified society, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said,” Islam has constantly been concerned to build a unified society based on sacred values, morale of justice and fraternity.”
He noted that the target unified Islamic society is away from religious prejudices and sets no discrimination between Arab and non-Arab except for piety.
French thinker added,” Islam counts community as a means for materializing its objectives which include, cooperation based on good will and piety.”
Hamrouni counted unity of god, unity of principles and unity of religion as the pillars to boost Islamic society.
He hailed Imam Ali (AS) as harbinger of solidarity in the Islamic nation because although he knew his righteousness in claiming rule over the Muslim nation he maintained patience as it was beneficial for the Muslim nation and Islam.
Professor at Paris Academy of Science referred to the political, economic and political council provided to the then rulers of Islamic nation by Imam Ali (AS) rather than viewing them as enemies.
He concluded that Islamic unity is a religious mandate rather than a temporary political strategy.
Emad hamrouni made the remarks at the international webinar on “Qadir Issue from the Viewpoint of Denominations” held by Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.
