An Iranian Islamic researcher has highlighted the role of women in popular resistance against Israeli enemies in Gaza.

Zahra Eslami, university professor from Tehran attending the 14th webinar on al-Aqsa Flood reiterated the key role of women in the axis of resistance, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
She hailed more than seven decades of resistance and combat by Palestinian women demanding the reason on why Israeli regime specifically targets residential buildings in Gaza?
 
She said,” Despite full knowledge that their homes might come under Israeli strikes, Palestinian women send their men to the frontline of war with Israeli regime.”
 
She added that the Israeli regime particularly strikes homes and residential buildings in order to weary the women and the resistance in men.
 
Iranian university professor made the comments in the 14th edition of the online meetings on the al-Aqsa Storm operation and the Israeli war on Gaza held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.
