Int’l ambassadors of Imam Reza complete workshop in holy Mashhad
Executive at international relations office at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) said a group of international students have successfully completed their workshop to become ambassadors of the eighth Shia Imam and promote his teachings and lifestyle back in their countries.

Hassan Gholampour, deputy of International Affairs in Scientific and Cultural Organization has wrapped up the ninth round of workshops for a group of international students in Iran concurrent to expand the different aspects in the life of the eighth Shia Imam, Taqrib News Agency (TNA) has reported Astan news as saying.
The workshop has coincided with the mourning month of Muharram which marks martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS), third Shia Imam; hence, participants were also provided with topics on the teachings of Karbala.
“In these recent workshops, which coincided with Muharram mourning ceremonies, attempts were made to better familiarize participants with Imam Hussein’s (AS) school of thought and Imam Reza’s teachings”, said Hassan Gholampour.
According to the executive, the workshop aimed for strengthening mental and religious capabilities of the youth via Islamic teachings, reflection upon Quranic verses, and promoting Imam Reza’s teachings.
He added that the deputy office aimed to fulfill the cultural diplomacy and promote Imam Reza’s prominence worldwide via these short-term workshops.
Nine rounds of these workshops have reportedly been held so far and participants from Syria, Iraq, Pakistan, Turkey, Afghanistan, etc. have completed the course according to the Deputy of International Affairs Hoj. Seyyed Mohammad Zolfaghari.
Participants will also be presented with scientific achievements in Razavi University of Islamic Sciences and Imam Reza International University.
