Iran's Deputy Minister of Culture says the Islamic Republic and Tajikistan have established a joint cultural zone.

The ceremony was participated by a large group of Iranian residents in Tajikistan along with the ambassadors of some countries in Dushanbe.
Mahmoud Salari said in the Iranian Cultural Week ceremony in Boktar: "Iran and Tajikistan tactfully thwarted the enemy's plot and established a common cultural zone with the policy of affection and love."
The Deputy Governor of Bokhtar Firouza Sharifzod said Tajikistan was the home of all the Persian-language people of the world and considered the cultural week ceremonies held in Iran and Tajikistan as a common ground for the expansion of ties between the two countries.
At the event, more than 50 Iranian artists present their artworks in such areas as painting, calligraphy, music, miniature painting, and Pahlavani arts.
