Iran, Russia serious for expanding cooperation: Ambassador
The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Moscow has said that large Russian companies are eager to enhance ties with Iranian companies and are on their way to Iran and noted that this trip is a platform for the expansion of economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries.

Kazem Jalali, in an interview with Iran Press in Moscow, stated that the private sector plays an important role in the expansion of economic and commercial cooperation between Iran and Russia, and it serves as the host for the visit of a large Russian business delegation to Iran.
The ambassador of Iran to Russia added that representatives and economic activists from different provinces of Russia are present in the large business delegation during their trip to Iran.
Referring to the serious will of Iran and Russia to expand economic cooperation, Jalali expressed hope that the level of economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries will expand day by day by the visit of a large Russian economic delegation to Iran.
The value of trade between Iran and Russia in the first 6 months of 2022 reached two billion and 800 million dollars with a 44.9% increase compared to the same period last year.
