The First International Conference on Martyr Qasem Soleimani School of Thought was held in Tehran, with the presence of the Iranian Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, leaders of the "Resistance Front" and other high-ranking government officials.

Describing General Soleimani's character, Velayati noted that General Soleimani did not only defend Muslims but all other religions' followers. 
Over the years, he defended the oppressed nations of the region in the fight against Daesh, who were trained by the US and the Israeli regime, he said.
The senior advisor stated: "Soleimani believed that the most important goal of the dictators is to enhance extremism and cast division among Muslims."
General Soleimani was not only a hero for the Iranian nation but a hero for the freedom-seekers all over the world, he reiterated.
