Iran to boost ties with Zimbabwe

The Director General of the International Cooperation Department of Iran's Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education considered the expansion of Iran's cooperation with Zimbabwe in the field of health as a new outlook on interactions with African countries.

Niknam added: Considering the sanctions imposed on the Islamic Republic of Iran and African countries, the development of health relations with Zimbabwe is one of the ways to deal with and by passing the sanctions and prevent the implementation of the foreign policy of some Western countries, especially the United States, for Iran's diplomatic isolation in the global arena.

Director General of International Cooperation Iran's Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education stated: A diverse program including bilateral meetings between senior officials of the two countries, visits to drug and medical equipment exhibitions, and visits to scientific and educational institutions has been prepared for the Zimbabwean delegation on its trip to Iran, and it is planned to sign a memorandum of understanding on health cooperation between the health ministers of the two countries during this Travel to be signed.
 
At the invitation of Iran's Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, Dr Constantino G.D.N. Chiwenga Vice President and Minister of Health of Zimbabwe and his accompanying delegation have traveled to Iran in order to expand bilateral cooperation in the field of health.
