Grand Mosque of Mecca prepared to welcome Ramadan

An administration for maintenance of the holy Ka’aba at the Grand Mosque in Mecca has maintained the Kiswa (black curtain covering Ka’aba) as part of preparation ahead of the fasting month of Ramadan.

The Undersecretary of the King Abdulaziz Complex in charge of maintenance of holy Ka’aba said the Holy Kaaba dress is inspected on a daily basis and periodic maintenance is carried out by a specialized Saudi work team.

He stated that the work team of specialists and technicians is keen to organize the work in preparation for the fasting month of Ramadan, and that the team members work according to the highest standards of accuracy and quality in performance and achievement in record time.


He noted that the Presidency uses the latest technologies and the best materials with international specifications in carrying out maintenance work on the covering of the Holy Kaaba, with the continuous support of the Saudi government.
