OIC condemns Israeli storming of al-Aqsa Mosque, repercussions of violence against Palestinians
The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ blatant storming of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the brutal assault on Muslim worshipers in its courtyards.

Hissein Brahim Taha, slammed the arrest of the Palestinian worshipers and warned of the dangerous escalation on the sanctity of holy places and freedom of worship.
He stressed the Israeli aggression as flagrant violation of the Geneva Conventions and relevant United Nations resolutions.
Hissein Brahim Taha, the OIC Secretary-General, held Israel, the occupying power, fully liable for the repercussions of these despicable and condemned attacks that would fuel tension, violence, and instability in the region.
The top official reaffirmed that the entire blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and its compound is a place of worship exclusively for Muslims.
At the same time, Brahim Taha called on the international community to take serious action to end these repeated Israeli violations and compel Israeli regime, the occupying power, to respect the sanctity of the holy places and preserve the legal and historical status of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The message by the OIC Secretary General was issued following brutal attack of Israeli forces on Wednesday targeting the Palestinian worshipers at al-Aqsa Mosque for the second time on Wednesday.
