112 Quran memorisers participate in final event of the Elite Memorisers project in Haifa

Some 112 Quran memorisers participated in the final activity of the Elite Memorisers of the Holy Quran Project in Haifa yesterday. The event aims to encourage young Muslims in Israel to memorise the Quran.

The final day began with Fajr prayer and continued until Isha prayer, where participants presented continuous recitations, including 40 participants who completed reciting the entire Holy Quran.
Sheikh Khatba, the official in charge of Dawah in Haifa, said the plan is to turn the project into an annual event and hoped it will contribute to consolidating the status of the Holy Quran in the hearts of future generations and spreading Islamic values in society.
The project is the first of its kind in occupied territories.
