Pres. Raisi: Fighting Zionist Regime unchangeable principle of Muslim
In a telephone call with his Indonesian counterpart, the Iranian President stressed the strengthening of bilateral relations and referred to recent developments in Palestine, and called for holding an emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and making a joint decision to defend the oppressed Palestinian nation and confront the crimes of the Zionist Regime.

The President stated, "We believe that the World of Islam, as an influential block in global equations, needs more convergence, and accordingly, we welcome any initiative to deepen relations between Islamic countries".
Referring to the 70-year-old diplomatic relations between Tehran and Jakarta, Raisi emphasized the strengthening of economic cooperation and trade relations between the two countries and expressed hope that in the new year, the cooperation between Iran and Indonesia will make a significant leap in the direction of the welfare and interests of the two nations.
In this telephone conversation, Indonesian President Joko Widodo, while congratulating the Iranian nation on the beginning of the new solar year and the beginning of the month of Ramadan, emphasized the need to deepen the relations between the two countries in order to bring the two nations closer together and secure common interests.
The President of Indonesia also welcomed the proposal of the President of Iran to hold an emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) and expressed hope that holding the summit would provide the basis for further strengthening of relations between Islamic countries.
