Palestinian teen killed, six more injured in Israeli raid on Jericho

One Palestinian teenager has been shot dead and six more wounded as Israeli forces stormed a refugee camp in the West Bank city of Jericho.

Israeli forces launched the raid at dawn on Monday targeting Aqabat Jabr refugee camp in the southwest of Jericho.
 
According to the Palestinian health ministry, 17-year-old Jibril al-Lad’ah had a fatal bullet injury in his head and six others were also injured by Israeli soldiers’ gunfire, three of them seriously, during clashes in Aqabat Jabr camp.
 
A large number of Israeli troops stormed the camp in the early morning hours, which provoked clashes with local young men arresting one young man from Aqabat Jabr camp.
 
Palestinian resistance fighters reportedly defended against the Israeli raid on the camp.
