Syrian professor of Fiq’h stressed fighting oppression and struggles for liberation of mother land as the way of life for the Islamic ummah.
“Fighting oppression, hostility is part of life in Islamic ummah”, Syrian prof.
Ahmad Qashlan, in his speech at the 2nd international conference on coexistence stressed Muslims to maintain solidarity calling that the factor that boosts power of the Muslim world in all fields, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He stressed importance of protecting the Islamic nation and said,” Fighting oppression and struggles for liberation of mother land as the way of life for the Islamic ummah” referring to the resistance of the Palestinian nation as an instance for that.
 
Still in another part of his speech, the Syrian professor called on the religious leaders to follow a strategic plan in line with materializing the Islamic unity and do not suffice to slogans.
 
He said,” To build proximity is a very important measure and it is a mission upon all Muslims to endeavor for materialization of that.”
 
A number of religious and cultural elites from across the world of Islam attended the second international conference on coexistence held in the Iranian capital Tehran on Saturday.
