Leader stresses importance of judiciary in counter-corruption campaign

Header of Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei stressed the important role of the judiciary in fight against corruption and reviving the rights of the public.

Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks in a meeting with the officials, executives and staff of the judiciary on the eve of the martyrdom anniversary of Ayatollah Beheshti, also known as the Judiciary Day in Iran, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The Leader hailed the experiences of the judiciary system in post-revolution era and said,” These valuable experiences should be hired in creating a reform, that is in boosting the positive points and eliminating the weak points in our judiciary system.”
 
Ayatollah Khamenei also stressed importance of training efficient experts as part of efforts towards reform and advancement of the judiciary system.
 
The Leader of Islamic Revolution called on all organization to fight against corruption in the early stages and prevent referring more cases to the judiciary.
 
Ayatollah Khamenei reiterated the freedom for the public and said,” According to the constitution, all manifests of freedom allowed by the law should be applied for all people.”
 
The Leader called on the media to project the work done by the judiciary system.
 
Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted importance of meetings between the judiciary with lawyers, political and economic experts, university students, professors, clerics and the business people for opening new horizons for the judiciary.
