Iran, Pakistan top clerics confer on boosting religious cooperation
Secretary General of the World Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and religious elites and leaders of Pakistan exchanged views on Islamic unity and research cooperation between scientific and religious centers of Iran and Pakistan.

In this meeting, which was attended by Ehsan Khazaei, the cultural attaché of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran and a group of Pakistani characters, the two sides exchanged views on the latest developments in the Islamic world as well as the capacities related to bilateral cooperation between the scientific, research and religious institutions of Iran and Pakistan.
Appreciating the role of the religious elites and religious leaders of Pakistan in strengthening the atmosphere of unity and integrity against the conspiracies of the enemies, the Secretary General of the World Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) said: "The Islamic countries of the region, including Iran and Pakistan, are two important and influential countries in the region and the Islamic world. They play a leading role in defending Islam and the sanctities of Muslims."
The Secretary General of the World Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) has headed to Pakistan for a 3-day trip at the head of a delegation.
The delegation of the World Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) also met with Reza Amiri Moghadam, Iran's Ambassador to Pakistan, as well as with some other Pakistani personalities, including Allama Seyed Sajid Ali Naqvi, Islami Tehreek Pakistan also Patron-in-Chief of Shia Ulema Council and Allama Sheikh Mohsen Ali Najafi, the head of the Al-Kowsar seminary in Islamabad.
