Khan Yunis medical complex suspends services due to fuel shortage
The amount of fuel available in the complex is sufficient to run the small generator for just three hours. The complex warned of a humanitarian and health disaster threatening the lives of patients who could suffocate on their ICU beds.
At least 5,500 litres of diesel fuel are needed daily to ensure the continuation of medical services. The complex appealed to international organisations and entities for urgent intervention to provide fuel to guarantee the ongoing delivery of medical services.
