Top Iranian cleric condemns Pakistan terrorist attack

Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has issued a message to condemn the recent terrorist attack in Bajur region as “hateful” and “coward” act of terror.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, in his message addressing Molavi Fadl al-Rahman, head of the Jamiat-e-Islam-F party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” We find this attack as part of the crimes committed in the international arena targeting Muslims and their Islamic sanctities.”
 
The cleric added that such crimes intend to humiliate Muslims and hinder their path towards honor, liberation and esteem.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari expressed sympathy with the Pakistani official and the bereaved families of the victims in this incident.
 
At least 44 people have lost their lives as a deadly blast targeted the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) party in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
 
More than 400 members and supporters gathered under a tent in the town of Khar, near the border with Afghanistan when the incident happened.
