Iran says supporting dictators has been US, UK policies throughout history
The spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry says: Supporting dictators and interfering in the internal affairs of other countries has been the policy of the United States and the United Kingdom throughout history.

In a tweet on the anniversary of the August 19, 1953 coup by the United States and Britain against the government of Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh, Nasser Kanaani wrote: "70 years ago, a national government in Iran was ousted by a coup backed by the US and UK. Supporting dictators, meddling in domestic affairs, suppressing libertarian movements, and orchestrating coup d'états are recurring characteristics of American and British policies."
