Global arrogance authorizes desecration under pretext of freedom of expression
Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Taha Morghati, in his speech at 67th news briefing held at Taqrib News Agency (TNA) said according to the human rights that mandates respect for all religious beliefs, the Islamic sanctities should be esteemed while the global arrogance misuses freedom of expression to authorize desecration.

He rejected the desecrations as random incidents and said,” The domineering powers intend to provoke Muslims when some uncontrolled reactions are likely to emerge and use these reactions to tarnish the image of Muslims as terrorists to the world people.”

Top cleric stressed,” Israeli regime or any other state behind these incidents are not able to damage holy Qur’an and not all Muslims imagine that burning printed text of the holy book would totally eliminate its high teachings.”

Hujjat-ul-Islam Morghati said the majority of such sacrilegious acts are organized and the reason behind them is lack of rationality and added,” Meanwhile Muslims should control their behavior amid protests and do not let the arrogant powers achieve the mischievous objectives.”

Senior cleric made the comments in 67th meeting held by Taqrib News Agency (TNA) as participants discussed the repeated cases of Qur’an desecration in Sweden and Denmark.
