Member of the Hamas’ political bureau has called for measures against increasing aggressions by Israeli settlers against holy al-Aqsa Mosque.

In a press statement on Saturday, Abu Marzouq condemned the Jewish temple mount groups for their renewed calls to participate in massive raids into the Al-Aqsa Mosque to commemorate Jewish holidays next month.
 
“These calls coincide with the Israeli attacks against Muslim worshipers at the at Al-Aqsa Mosque's Lions Gate,” Abu Marzuoq underlined, adding that such violations constitute part of the religious war waged against the Mosque.
 
Abu Marzouq warned of the new Israeli Judaization plan that seeks to take full control over Occupied Jerusalem, adding that Israel continues to demolish Palestinian citizens’ homes in the holy city especially in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
 
He called on the Palestinian people all over the occupied territories to intensify their presence at the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem to protect them against the Israeli and Jewish settlers’ desecration.
