Vice President of the Higher Islamic Shiite Council, Sheikh Abdul Amir Kabalan sent a message to the Libyan people to congratulate them the fall of the Libyan president Muammar Gaddafi.

Kabalan said "The people of Libya managed by the revolution to break out of slavery and destroy the humiliation, he is able to prove himself due to his patriotic and nationalistic spirit, and connection to the Arab and Islamic identity of this decent people who embrace the causes of the nation as carried the banner by one of its pioneers, Imam Musa al-Sadr, was his main concern, the victory for the dignity and pride of the nation and restore its role and status and rights.

Kabalan stressed that "the brotherly people of Libya, is a partner of the Lebanese people to bear the consequences of the oppressor and the tyrant who made the people of Libya captivated by his instincts and desires, and hiding the imam of the resistance and the nation and his brothers, Sheikh Mohammed Yacoub and Abbas Badr al-Din media in the darkness of prisons."

Higher Islamic Shiite Council directed to transition council, the legitimate representative of the Libyan people, the congratulations and blessing of what the Liberal Revolution in Libya have done and appealed to the Council to contribute to end the prison of Imam Musa Al-Sadr and his two companions the arena of struggle for rights".

Sheikh Kabalan called on the Lebanese government to declare a state of emergency to follow up the issue of the absence of Imam Sadr and his two companions at the highest international standards, to save and return them to their homeland and their parents.
