“Israeli crimes, true image of savagery”, top cleric

The interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran condemned the heart-wrenching catastrophe in Gaza as Israeli regime has rained bombs “destructive as several nuclear bombs” on the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami, in his Friday sermon, decried over a month of Israeli brutal attacks witnessed by world people calling that the true savagery of the Zionist Israeli regime, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He expressed regret over more than 10,500 fatalities among Palestinians, most of them women and children and slammed destruction of 74 schools, 43 mosques and three churches in Israel’s incessant attacks.
 
The cleric said,” Israeli crimes could inspire future artists to picture image of brutality.”
 
According to the senior scholar the global condemnation of the Israeli regime following its strikes against hospitals and said,” Israel and the US have nothing called fame.”
 
Ayatollah Khatami said,” The least Arab countries could do is severe their relations with Israeli regime” and added,” If they (Arab states) maintain Islam, then they should note the fact that Gazans are Muslims. If they maintain Arab nationality, then they should not forget that Gazans are Arab and if they maintain humanity, then they should remember that Gazans are human beings.”
 
The prayer leader of Tehran also noted that the constant visits by western officials to the occupied territories is due to their concerns that the regime is on the verge of collapse.
 
He also quoted the Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei saying that Israeli regime could not continue had it not been for the assistance of its supporters.
 
He hailed the massive pro-Palestine rallies held in the US, UK and Germany and slammed the European governments for their support for the Israeli regime.
 
The Iranian cleric Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami made the remarks in his sermon at Friday prayer on November 10th.
