The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has announced reaching a deal for a 4-day ceasefire and release of 150 Palestinian women and children from Israeli prisons.

The Qatari and Egyptian mediated ceasefire deal has been reached following difficult and complex indirect negotiations, al Mayadeen channel announced early on Wednesday.
According to the agreement the two sides reached deal for a four-day ceasefire, mutual exchange of a number of prisoners and also entrance of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip “without exception”.
It also includes paragraphs on total halt of military activities and transport of Israeli armored vehicles across Gaza.
Hamas added that 50 Israeli women and children under 19 years of age will be exchanged for 150 Palestinian women and children in Israeli jails.
According to the deal the Israeli jet fighters flight and strikes against northern and southern parts of Gaza will be stopped for six-hour respites from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
Tel Aviv regime has launched massive strikes against the Gaza Strip following the October 7 operation al-Aqsa Flood by Hamas resistance fighters. More than 14,000 Palestinians have been killed in the killing campaign by Israel, most of them children and women.
The regime also imposed full blockade of the Gaza Strip cutting electricity, food, water, fuel and medical supplies for more than 2.3 million people in the coastal enclave. Meanwhile it started extensive strikes against the residential buildings, mosques, churches, hospital and the UN-run schools that sheltered the displaced Palestinians for over 45 days.
