Bahrain opposition leaders call Manama to withdraw from US-led Red Sea coalition

The leaders of Bahraini opposition movements in notorious al-Jou prison have issued a joint statement calling on the ruling al-Kalifa to withdraw from the US-led Red Sea coalition and sever ties with the Israeli regime.

The prominent opposition leaders and activists condemned as fraud the so-called “Operation Prosperity Guardian” led by the United States to confront Yemeni operations against Israeli regime amid its killing campaign in the Gaza Strip, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The opposition leaders also called on Manama to respond to the Bahraini nation’s call for closing the Israeli embassy in the Persian Gulf Arab country.
 
They hailed the efforts by different nations and some governments in assisting the oppressed Palestinians in Gaza and lauded the heroic endeavors as well as the anti-occupation projects.
 
Sheikh Abdul Majeed al-Mikdad, Sheikh Mohammad Habib al-Mikdad, Sheikh Ali Salman, Abdul Wahhab Hussein, Abdul Hadi al-Makhudhar, Mohammad Ali, Sheikh Mirza al-Mahrous and Abdul Hadi al-Khawaja signed the joint statement addressed to Bahraini government.
 
The United States has assembled a multinational naval coalition to confront the Yemeni armed forces amid operations to siege Israeli-bound ships in the Red Sea in support of the Palestinians under Israeli onslaughts.
 
Yemeni armed forces have pledged to continue seizure of the Israeli-bound ships and target the occupied lands until total end to atrocities against Palestinians and flow of the humanitarian aids to the blockaded Strip.
