First conference of Shia, Sunni Sadat held in Tehran
The first conference of Shia and Sunni Sadat (descendants of Prophet Mohammad) in Tehran was held in the Iranian capital on the eve of the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (AS).

Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in collaboration with Sadat Foundation and the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare held the meeting on Tuesday, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Mahdi Hussein Zadeh, Secretary General of Sadat Foundation explained the eminency of the Sadat and those descending from the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
The ceremony was held on the eve of the birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (AS), daughter of the prophet Mohammad (PBUH) the descendent of whom are known as Sadat.
Executive manager of Sadat Foundation, Majid Samadian, called for launching a network of Sadat and hailed them for the efficient role in Jihadi movements.
The first conference of Shia and Sunni Sadat in Tehran concluded with the ceremony to unveil the book titled “School of Soleimani” and periodical “Siadat”.
The ceremony also marked a number of sayyids attending the conference and also unveiling a statue of prominent counter-terrorism commander Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, martyred in a US attack on his convoy in Iraq in January 2020.
