President of Malaysia Consultative Council of Islamic Organization (MAPIM) has called for a reform in the mechanism of the United Nations and Security Council due to their failure to prevent Israeli genocidal war on the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Mohd Azmi Abdul Hamid, speaking at the international conference on “Al-Aqsa Storm and Awakening of Human Conscience” condemned the atrocities against the Gaza Strip and said the mechanism of the international bodies should be reformed, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The international conference entitled “Al-Aqsa Storm and Awakening of Human Conscience” is underway in the Iranian capital Tehran on January 14th with more than 100 scholars from across the world of Islam in attendance.
Mohd Azmi Abdul Hamid hailed the operational al-Aqsa Storm by the Palestinian resistance movement and said the operation redefined the status que in Palestine.
The Malaysian scholar hailed the global demonstrations held in support of the Palestinians under Israeli atrocities and said these are actions in local, national, regional and global arena.
The senior scholar made the remarks at the international conference entitled “Al-Aqsa Storm and Awakening of Human Conscience” held in the Iranian capital Tehran on January 14.
Held by Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, more than 150 thinkers and elites from across the world of Islam are attending the one day meeting to discuss the developments in the besieged Gaza Strip.
