Iraq parliament lashes out US strike on PMU positions
Iraqi Parliament has strongly condemned the recent US strike targeting the Popular Mobilization Units also known as PMU in the Arab country.

Hadi al-Amiri, Member of Iraq’s parliament, in a reaction to the latest US atrocities, called on the government to take immediate measures to end the presence of American forces in Iraq.
Al-Amiri emphasized his opposition with the US presence in Iraq calling that a threat to the security of the Iraqi nation and clear violation against Iraqi sovereignty.
The chairman of the Iraqi parliament also denounced the recent US attack on PMU positions calling that a violation of the international law and mutual agreements between Baghdad and Washington.
US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Wednesday night that it targeted the positions of Iraq’s Islamic Resistance in response to the group’s recent attacks on American bases and facilities in the Arab country.
These attacks targeted depots, rocket and missile training facilities, drone facilities, and the Resistance group’s headquarters, the statement said.
