Sheikh Khaled al-Mala, the leader of Society of Iraq Scholars made the remark at the 18th edition of the al-Aqsa webinars attended by participants of the al-Aqsa conference held in the Iranian capital Tehran on January 14th, both meetings held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He referred to 130 days of Israeli onslaughts against the Gaza Strip and said,” The besieged territory is still subject to US-Israeli genocidal war as the Israeli killing machine is constantly massacring the Palestinians in front of the world people.”
The Iraqi cleric condemned the US’ explicit support for the Israeli crimes not excluding any person or any place be it the hospitals, homes or schools.
He hailed the resistance of Gazans amid the all-out war and fatal blockade of the people saying,” Some believed that the resistance had ended but the movement prove its dynamicity by confronting the intelligence services and Israeli army in the occupied lands.
Sheikh Khaled al-Mala referred to the international conference entitled “Al-Aqsa Storm, Awakening of Human Conscience” emphasizing the effective role of such meetings on boosting supports for the Islamic resistance.
He expressed hope that other Islamic and Arab capitals will host such conferences leading to an awakening among the Muslim nations and more popular support for al-Quds and Gazans.
Attended by the Muslim scholars, elites and religious figures from across the globe, the 18th edition of al-Aqsa conference was held on Tuesday February 13.
