Iran highlights OIC preventive role against Israeli crimes

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman has highlighted the effective role of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in preventing Israeli crimes in Gaza Strip.

Nasser Kana'ani, in his weekly press conference held at the 24th Iran Media Expo, underway in Tehran hailing the resumption of the major media event in Iran after six years of lapse, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said," The catastrophes in Gaza have unveiled the true face of the claimants of human rights and also the savagery of the Israeli regime."
 
Kana'ani noted that the US efforts to save the Zionist Israeli regime continue and had it not been for the US supports, Israeli regime could not manage continuing the war even for a single day.
 
He condemned the ongoing Israeli war against Gaza as a threat against the international peace and security and reiterated the responsibility of the OIC saying," The Islamic organization can play an effective role in preventing the crimes by Zionist Israeli regime."
 
Kana'ani said," Iran has fully used its diplomatic capacities since the beginning of the crisis in Gaza and is capable of playing an effective role against the crimes by Zionist Israeli crimes."
 
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman once again hailed the stance of South Africa and reiterated Iran's support for lodging complaint against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
 
Nasser Kana'ani made the remarks in his weekly presser held on the sideline of the 24th Iran Media Expo which is underway in the Iranian capital Tehran.
