Fadlallah: High time to stop Bahrain crisis

Sayed Ali Fadlallah stressed that "The sound of the unit should rise above all other votes in the Islamic scene in the face of all the voices of discord, noting that it is a stage of marketing the strife in the region, calling to confirm the dialogue in Bahrain as the only solution to the problems there.

During a meeting with a delegation from the Union Party - Reformist Movement, headed by Mr. Hassan Shalha, Fadlallah said, "We want Bahrain an arena of dialogue, not and arena of conflict and fighting". Discussing about the general situation,he pointed to the threat to the Islamic world specifically by "the sectarian sedition which is working to hostile the nation".

He also welcomed a delegation headed by Bahraini independent candidate for election in Bahrain, Hussein Salman Owainati, and discussed about Islamic unity in the light of recent developments in Bahrain and a number of Arab countries.

He expressed his fear of sedition led by hostile circles, which is seeking to demolish the Islamic house on our heads all.

He also called for "action to strengthen the Unionist logic, and the waiver for Islamic unity, especially in Bahrain, which we want an oasis of love, dialogue and understanding, not an arena of fighting and conflict".
