Iranian cleric proposes launching joint scientific institute for Muslims
The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has proposed establishment of a joint institute to address Muslim world issues.

Dr. Hamid Shahriari made the proposal in a meeting with Ali al-Qaradaghi, the Secretary General of International Union of Muslim Scholars held on the sideline of World Muslim Scholars’ Constitution Summit held in Istanbul on Tuesday, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The Iranian cleric hailed the stances of the Qatari-based Islamic institute and discussed the ways for mutual cooperations between the two Islamic centers.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid shahriari also proposed establishment of a joint scientific organization among all Islamic denominations to tackle the issues of Muslims across the globe.
Ali al-Qaradaghi also lauded the efficient role of Iran in the region and also its support the Palestinians in Gaza.
The prominent Muslim scholars exchanged views on the issues across the world of Islam on the sideline of the second day of the World Muslim Scholars’ Constitution Summit on Tuesday.
The meeting was organized by Turkey’s Directorate of Religious Affairs for May 13-14 with hundreds of religious leaders and elites from across the world of Islam discussing the issues challenging Muslims.
