OIC denounces Israeli massacre in Nuseirat refugee camp

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has denounced in strongest terms the recent Israeli massacre of Palestinian civilians in Nuseirat refugee camp that killed and injured dozens of people most of them women and children.

The Islamic body condemned the Israeli regime over “continued state terrorism and genocide” that blatantly violate international humanitarian law and UN resolutions, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
OIC called emphasized necessity of investigation, accountability and punishment under the international criminal law.
 
It also stressed the responsibility of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in bringing to justice the perpetrators behind the massacre.
 
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation reiterated its call to the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to urgently intervene to halt the war crimes by Israeli forces in the besieged Gaza Strip urging for protection for the Palestinian civilians in face of the Israeli onslaughts.
 
At least 210 people, mostly women and children, have lost their lives and more than 400 wounded during the latest incursion of Israeli forces into Nuseirat refugee camp.
