Gaza hospital records 50 children admitted over malnourishment
A hospital in northern Gaza has recorded 50 Palestinian children admitted over malnourishment in a matter of one week.

Husam Abu Safiya, director of the Kamal Adwan Hospital has warned of a looming famine over the besieged strip as the regime pushes ahead with its genocidal war.
Abu Safiya, in a statement issued on Sunday said the medical centers is struggling to resume services despite Israeli aggressions.
“The health system in Gaza is a target of the [Israeli] occupation, but we are trying to resume medical services at a minimum despite fuel shortages,” Abu Safiya said.
According to the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF), nine out of 10 children in the Gaza Strip suffer from acute food poverty.
“Five rounds of data collected between December 2023 and April 2024 have consistently found that 9 out of 10 children in the Gaza Strip are experiencing severe food poverty, surviving on two or fewer food groups per day,” UNICEF said in a recent report.
Israeli regime has imposed nearly full-siege on Gaza since early days of its genocidal war on Gaza Strip leaving over two million Palestinians in the besieged territory struggling with severe shortage of food, water and medicine.
