“Israel opening gates to hell”, Yemeni official warns

Hazam al-Assad, member of the Yemeni resistance movement said that the Israeli forces' attack on the besieged Gaza Strip and forced displacement of the Palestinians from Khan Younis will lead to intensification of the military operations in solidarity with the Palestinian nation, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said,” The massacre and genocide of the Palestinians by Israeli regime will lead to more retaliatory attacks against the regime. Yemeni forces have begun the fifth phase of their operation and the more civilians are killed, the more strategic positions of the regime will be targeted.”

Hazam al-Assad emphasized that the fifth phase of the operations will be conducted with tough response by the resistance.

He added that the occupation regime, by targeting Hudaydah port, has opened the gates to the hell and that the ports, military and intelligence headquarters deep in the occupied Palestinian lands will be under Yemeni fire.

The Ansarullah member described as "strong" the relations with Palestinian resistance movement Hamas and voiced support for any movement to be made by Hamas.

Earlier Hazam al-Assad vowed, in a post on his X account, that Yemeni resistance will soon inflict a painful blow to the Israeli regime in response to the attack on positions in Yemen.

Israeli warplanes have carried out airstrikes against Yemen's strategic western province of Hudaydah killing and injuring a number of people in the country.

Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari said the airstrikes were in response to the hundreds of attacks against Israel in recent months.

It was the first time the Israeli regime has publicly attacked Yemen in months of escalating tensions.
